which Loos gauge?

Eddy:
I bit the bullet and bought the pt3 gauge and it arrived with no scale attached so I had to send it back. I've gotten the replacement and am going down this weekend to adjust the tension with the gauge and then sail the boat to mdo any final adjustments.

Vantage:
I bought a new Loos standard model 90 on EBay last week for $40.00 with the "make an offer feature". It came very quickly. I plan to try it out tomorrow.  I think $40 is a good price? The seller has one or two more left in inventory.

What should the tension be for the uppers and lowers, and how do you tell if the front/rear stay is too loose?
