which Loos gauge?

I always borrowed one of the (much) more expensive PT-3s.  Wish they cost less:(.

do you recall the wire sizes of our boats? I was hoping the pt2 would cover it. Thanks for the input

Blue Heron:
My owners manual says the wire size is 9/32"

On mine, the outer shrouds, forestay and backstay are 9/32", and the inner shrouds are 1/4".

Ed (Dolce) I hear you on the repeatability of the measurements - much better way of saying things.  I found with practice you could get readings similar enough to see if you have a problem or not - if the tension was roughly right, and if the tension is similar across the baby stays, but not much more than that. But you could not make precise measurements or adjustments. Definitely batter than nothing, but not for fine tuning.

Blue Heron:
I just wanted to report that the 90 B model is the correct gauge, and it worked just fine for me. I feel much better about the rig tension now!
