My mast is approx 46' above the water and an additional 2' to the bilge.

Try opening a new tread Nick.

The  mast of Chance  pearson 323 1977  which is laying on saw horse for the winter.  I measure today is 46 feet 6 and 1/2 inches, that measurement was from the bottom of the al tube to the top of al tube.  This does not include the top mast head , which goes on top of the tube  has all blocks in it for the jib , main and spin hoist .                                                  Bob Kraus CHANCE  Hull 10  41 years

My 1981 hull #288:

Mast length of 46' 8" (total for extrusion, not including mast-head)

I also measured from the top of the mast extrusion to the center of the large bolt securing the lower shrouds - 19' 10"
