MD11c Thermostat part number?
« on: November 30, 2014, 03:04:51 PM »
Any ideas on where I can find a new thermostat and gasket for the MD11C online? I want to do a chemical flush of the cooling system in a closed loop. The articles I have read say to take the thermostat out while doing it. I figured while I have it out, I can replace it.

Here is where I got my replacement last summer. Attached is the web site and part number for my MD 11C. You can find aftermarket parts less expensive. I tried that and got the one that did not look right. So I went with OEM. They charge alot, but do you want to mess around with the cooling system to save a few bucks??? Good luck. Let us know how the chemical wash goes. I have a fresh water rinse set up on my MD 11 that I flush all the salt water out of the engine everytime it has to set for a while.

Thank you. Did not get the flush done yet. High on the list.
