Running halyards aft
« on: March 14, 2014, 10:06:02 PM »
I'm thinking about installing a UK Lazy Cradle (lazy jack system) and running at least the main halyard aft. Does anybody have any experience with the Lazy Cradle and thoughts on how best to position the hardware, like the blocks and winch for the main halyard, to make it all work? As always, pictures are worth a thousand words!  :)

I would like to know if you did it and what you used. I would like to know others thoughts on how the lazy cradle would block the reefing tie points and reef lines.

Also, where are you going to mount the winch on the cabin and what kind of blocks are you going to use?
