P323 / Re: Cockpit drains

I assume you are on the hard. Why do you shut the seacocks rather than let the cockpit drain?

Electrical Systems & Electronics / Re: Shorepower inlet.

I still have the original Newmar BRE38 panel. I plugged in to shore power to charge batteries while on the hard and am getting reverse polarity on two out the 4 individual breakers. Going with this ELCI upgrade is more than I want to tackle.   I'm hoping to either find replacement breakers or a complete panel. Anyone with this experience?

Pearson Powerboats / Swim ladder for Pearson True North 33 (inboard engine model)
« Last post by KIPearson34 on February 20, 2026, 03:25:59 PM »
 Hi,
New to the forum. I am the new owner of a 2006 Pearson True North 33 (inboard engine model). The prior owner misplaced the swim ladder. I understand the ladder inserts into the transom (directly below the transom doors). Does anyone know where I could source a replacement ladder? Any leads or ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

Hello all,

I’m installing a new raymarine autopilot system. I have everything set up, I just can’t determine the best way to mount the rudder reference sensor on my 39-2. Any advice would be appreciated if you’ve done it before. Thank you!

Have an opportunity to purchase a "slightly used", Harken MK IV Roller Furling Rig. Any recommendations on furling rigs for 1980-P32, currently configured with a "Tuff-Luff". Still like to race, but anticipate much more cruising time. TY!

Engine and Drive Train / Re: 80" P-32 exhaust system

Happy New Year !

Boats still high and dry, small details to wrap engine (throttle-xmission cables, coolant recovery tank. Winters settled in, convinced myself a good idea to delay launch until March. Hull, rudder clean, prep and paint needs attention. I was was really looking forward to starting the engine for the first time! I stepped-up the exhaust hose diameter from 1 1/2" (M15, 11HP) to 2" (M25, 22 HP). The exhaust riser was build with a 2" output flange.

Concerned I may have mucked-up the exhaust "back-pressure"... ?
The hose run is approx. 15 feet, riser to transom.

picture after recent haul, 9/25. had been in water for 3 years.
