Title: Boot stripe color

I need to repaint my blue boot stripe in a few places. Was that a standard color back in 1977?

Don't know.  Our 1977 P323 has a dark blue boot stripe, but in a few places it's chipped and shows red underneath. Don't know if this was primer or a different color.

My boot stripe is black underneath. I picked up a few cans of blue from Menards. Turns out Painters Touch gloss deep blue matches very closely. We'll see how it holds up. Now I'm trying to match my faded white hull sides.
