Does anyone know the halyard size on the 303? Looks like it measures 7/16. Could that be right?

Steering System, Hull Structure / Rudder to skeg play

Just hauled the boat, a Pearson 303, and checking the rudder for play at the pintles, gudgeons . About 3/8 inch of play. Is this a lot? Everything else looks good.

P303 / rudder packing

Anyone with a 303 ever repack their rudder shaft packing. I don't have any leaks but I thought I would do it while the boat is out of the water. Looks like it's been a while since anyone touched it.

P303 / 303 cutless bearing replace

Has anyone with a 303 or similar design shaft log replaced the cutless bearing. Any problems to look for, does the shaft have to be pulled?
