Title: throttle cable end
Post by: Frayed Knot on October 18, 2022, 12:58:08 PM
I have an Volvo MD11c.  The throttle control cable end, that connects to the ball on throttle shaft is shot.  It is also plastic.  I am looking for replacement or part number.  Any help would be appreciated.

I believe Pearson originally used Morse cables.  Searching for "Morse Throttle Cable" leads to this:

Might be what you're looking for.

The ball end is part of the throttle shaft on the motor it does not unscrew.  I will keep looking.  The threaded end to the plastic piece  is 5mm or 10-32, not sure of ball size will have to measure this weekend.  I had better hurry leaving for our annual race in Southport.NC Thursday the 28th.  If I have to use zip ties to hold it on I will...
