Mast and Spar Issues / Top o' the mast question

!983 P34: New to me last Summer. No anchor light at the top of the mast. Want one.
Climbed to the top and saw that the cap is welded to mast.
Does anybody know if there is a center conduit that I can run wire through to bottom.
An antenna is attached to the side and as a second choice I can mount a light on a post from there.
