Mast and Spar Issues / Question about a Pearson 303 replacing electronics at top of mast

I am having problems getting a line down the mast, my rigger, has any one else had this problem, and if so how did you solve the problem?

Help!!
As I said looking for a source for getting another circuit breaker backing plate the old was made of plastic, very cheap design if I may say so, HELP!
