Title: Companionway Lock
Post by: Valor on May 01, 2021, 10:04:32 AM
So i made a new companionway drop board and I want to get the stainless plates that mount on the board opening that the sliding hasp goes through to lock it.

I cant find them because I don't know what they are called. I have googled everything I can think of and nothing.

So what the heck are these plates called??? If you have a source, please list it. If you have a pair you want to sell that works too. Thanks in advance.

I believe Pearson actually used chainplate covers for this part.  On my P323, they were made by Schaefer.

Here's a link to an example:  https://hardware.schaefermarine.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=147_125&products_id=3546
