Just to let you know, I found the oil leak.  Eight years ago I put on an remote oil filter on to better access the filter.  The oil lines to the remote was against the bulkhead and finally rubbed a hole in it.  Replaced hoses and all is good.  No new motor needed.

Engine and Drive Train / new motor

I am looking at a Bata 25 to put in the 323.  I have found a place in Indonesia.  Its name is   (Marine Power Engine).  He is selling the new motor for $3,200.00 shipping $435.00.  That is close to 7,000.00 less than the places in america.  Is this a scam or has any one purchased from this company?

I have replaced my lifelines with a gate.  I thought I saw somewhere on this site that someone needed some lifelines for a 323.  If you know who it was they can have the ones I took off cheep...  If you know who it was, let me know.

Hi,

I realize this topic is 4 years old and I'm late to the game (It's been four and half years.), but I checked this out as I have an '85 Pearson 36-2, and, yep, the original rub-rail needs replacing.

Integrity Marine Corps. no longer carries the rub-rail BUT their website seems cool and very helpful. I'm going to contact them anyway, when I get closer to that project, as I feel like they're a good bet on getting some help with at least a suggestion on a work-around.
