I enjoy owning "Just Add Water" Thank you, Jeff. What a great boat. We need to go out with Bruce before he splits town for Wisconsin.

I am looking for a more compatible replacement for the single-line reefing "shuttle block" (AutoReef Internal Shuttle Block: NB2-20) that Rig-Right has snatched from the universe. Their replacement was on their site last year, including the price, but it seems to have disappeared in the course of Covid Madness. I am presently using a Harken deck organizer that unfortunately also has a becket which may be causing a collision in the boom, and subsequent jamming. I can't believe anything so simple as the shuttle block depicted on the Isomat drawings is presently made of inobtainium.

Anyone have an elegant fix for this dilemma? I did all of the preliminary boom work last winter, and would like to be happy with the result. I have become an expert on rerigging the interior of the boom, including removing nesting material.

Here is their page: http://www.rig-rite.com/Spars/Isomat_Spars/Isomat_Booms/Isomat_AutoReef.html >:(

It was suggested that I acquire two of these: https://www.marinetech.shop/Klampen-Bloecke-und-Bolzen/Bloecke-Zubehoer/814619/Sprenger-Liegeblock-mit-Gleitlager-oxid-1.html   However, the ability of purchasing these, trans-Atlantic, appears difficult at first glance. Anyone have suggestions?

My  31-2 has an actual icebox pump under the sink, which is turned on by a switch just behind the door on the upper left. The way mine was plumbed gives you the option of putting the water either in the sink and overboard, or into the left fresh water tank! It took me two seasons to figure that one out.

P31 / helmsman seat hold downs.

Over the last season, I have managed to mislay one or maybe both of the elastic straps that keep the helmsman seat attached to the boat. Anyone have a source of these?

Latest madness:

Preparing to winterize, in the mid-Chesapeake (Galesville, MD)...Discovered that both tanks were completely dry, although had been thoroughly cleaned and reinstalled and filled with moderately-bleached water. This condition happened in a matter of four months. Next spring, look for the leaks? With the dry tanks, the bilge level did seem lower than usual. Methinks my plumbing job was questionable...

I am half-way through my second season with "Just Add Water", hull number 163.

I have the manual, but the tank vent positions noted are for hull #193 and beyond. I have yet to locate the exterior vents, if they exist. A noted location in the text was "on the bulkhead aft of the settee" but I have not found such, yet.

I did notice when reassembling the tankage after a complete cleaning that the starboard tank was not venting, as it inhaled audibly when I opened the deck fill to top it off.

Thanks in advance!

I know I need two different sizes. Does anyone have exact info on them?
