Title: Deck fill O-rings
Post by: Dolce_Vita on September 29, 2020, 08:06:43 PM
On the P323, all 5 deck fills (3 water, 1 waste, 1 fuel) seem to be the same size. Anyone know what size o-ring they take?

I looked at the Pearson 323 parts list but no luck there. The next time I'm at the marina I'll measure them though.

I've since gotten to the boat and measured them.  I ordered a bag of the closest standard size I could find on McMaster-Carr, and we'll see how they fit.  Will report back.

I had a similar situation, I dropped a deck fill cover overboard
My deck fills are Wilcock & Crittenden.
Eventually I found out that W & C have proprietary threads, very hard to find.
I did find one at a salvage yard

I ordered a pack of Oil-Resistant Soft Buna-N O-Rings, 3/32 Fractional Width, Dash Number 132.  Part number 2418T151.

These have an ID of 1.737" and a thickness of 0.103". Less than $10 for a pack of 20, but shipping is another $8!

These seemed to fit ok, but might be a little loose.  Probably should have gone down one size for a stretch-tight fit.

Sounds good.
