1981 Pearson 323 For Sale

Bill Shaw designed one of the best known cruising yachts in the Pearson 323. This is a safe, seaworthy and attractive cruising sailboat. She is ideal for a couple or small family and has been re-powered with an over sized Volvo D1-30 diesel with only 270 hours - scarcely run-in.

Recent upgrades include: new running rigging; new deck hatches; interior upholstery; depth sounder; mast sheaves; mast step and deck collar; LED mast light; flag halyards and blocks; spare propane tank; dual 6V house batteries; start battery; marine battery charger; LED nav lights; auto bilge pump.

With a modified fin keel and a strong skeg-hung rudder, she is a delight to sail and is set up to be easily handled by 1 person. The welcoming main cabin has mahogany bulkheads and teak trim, a cleverly designed dining table that converts to a double berth, a single settee to port which slides to provide a single berth, shelves on both sides for storage and a traditional forward facing navigation table with storage. Natural light comes from 4 portlights and 75% of the electric lights are new LED converted. The V-berth cabin forward is a generous double with storage on both sides and below, as well as a set of drawers and cupboard to port and bins to starboard. The well designed galley has a Hiller Range 3 burner propane stove and oven with a new solenoid. The Adler-Barbour cold machine provides refrigeration. There is pressurized hot/cold water and a SS sink as well as a foot and hand pump. Hot water is provided by shore power or engine heating. 3 water tanks of a total 78 gallons are more than adequate for cruising.

Asking only $19,500 - this is a great deal. Triton Yacht Sales Listing 252-249-2210
