Bent Bow Pulpit

(1/1)

Dolce_Vita:
During our last Bahamas trip, we had an encounter with a dock that left us with a bent bow pulpit.  (Our Atomic 4 is so quiet at idle that it had stalled and I didn't notice!)

The port side is bent sternward about 2 inches, resulting in very slack lifelines, and two of the screws on the feet have been pulled partially out.

Any recommendations on how to straighten it?  I'd like to be able to do it in place, rather than try to remove it.

Send Pic!
I got a friend who bends & unbends stanchions, i will show to him.
He races a lot, good at fixing stuff

Dolce_Vita:
Sorry this took so long.  Holiday season gets crazy...

The first photo shows the curved section is pulled to the left.

The second shows the rail bent at the anchor bracket (the anchor contacted the dock)

The third shows the port fwd stanchion base

The fourth shows the lifeline sag.  I estimate about a 4" displacement aftwards.
