Slow Leak From under engine

Hoping to get some ideas on where this slow leak is coming from. I've tried baby powder, paper towels around the hull, seacocks, etc. etc and those all seem to be dry.  The one spot I see is a small trail of water coming from under the engine - but not FROM the engine. The engine seems to be sitting on a mount of some sort and there is now water directly below it...but I did notice it has a small gap under it and can see a slight water line.  I have an '85 P303 with a 2GM20F.  The pics attached show where it is leaking (about 1/2 gallon every 3-5 days. Sometimes slower and I can't find a pattern of when we sail vs. when we run the engine vs. when she's just sitting in the slip - it still comes at different flow levels that don't align to any one use case. 

Any thoughts or tips here? I'm on the verge of pulling her out of the water to see if something strange is up on the hull.

the only suggestion I have is my experience that took 2 years to track down a leak on my 31-2....it was from my exhaust hose where it joins the SS exhaust port on the stern.  They do not meet up horizontally and the SS port wore a hole in the top of the exhaust hose and would then find it's way under the gas tank and under the motor to the bilge.  It wasn't till I finally got some black exhaust mixed in with the water that I finally traced it. It wasn't easy on my boat to reach, but luckily I have a speaker hole to work with and 2 of us managed to get the new line on.  Before that I had to empty the bilge every morning before sailing or I'd wash out the cabin floor, but now I've had a completely dry bilge since then. I have a 323 , So its slightly different setup, But I had a weeping leak that turned out to be my rudder post. It uses the stuffing box rope, like the propeller shaft so it just needed some tightening. But when it leaked it was just a very small stream that ran under the engine. It would dry up and be hard to find, but I would have fresh water accumulating under the engine.
