P34 top rudder bushing

The top rudder bushing just below the quadrant in my 1985 P34 is badly worn, causing some rudder movement.  It appears to be made of some form of plastic, delrin or something like that.  Does anyone have any information about its dimensions, composition, or where I might find a replacement?  It appears to be pressed in or epoxied in, not sure which.  Any information would be helpful.

Check out my posts about same topic under the heading Rudder post Bearing and Anne Hart. I believe you can have a new bushing made by Edson. I am hauling out my P31-2 in August and intend to replace the same part.

I'm a little confused. In my P34, below the quadrant is the stuffing box. The only plastic bushing is at the cockpit sole.

Hello-
I am new to the Forum.

I own a 1970 P 26  Hull # 165.

I have some up and down movement under sail. I had the rudder shaft tubes  re-bushed 2 years ago.

I am thinking of getting some delrin top bushings 2 3/8" and adding them to the cockpit side of therudder-tiller connection. Does that sound like it will suffice or am I not considering a different source of the problem?
