Mid-Ship Cleats

(1/2) > >>

Valor:
Has anyone added mid-ship cleats to their 323's?

Did you mound it on a track car or to the deck?

If it is deck mounted, how close to the toe rail did you mount it and does it interfere with the jib sheets?

Any pictures of the completed project would be helpful.

Rusty Pelican:
I have the Schaefer genoa track cleats.
Had them 20 years or so, worth every penny.
Genoa mount is the only way to go.

Valor:
I figured that would be the answer. Thanks!

Last Resort:
can't beat the price here either for your needs. I bought 2 and still look brand new 5 years later. They also have ones for 1.25" if needed.

rnebergall:
Can anyone confirm the size of the Genoa track.  Defender has a decent price for the Schaefer mid-rail cleat now, but the boat is under cover, and I'm 400 miles from the boat, thus cannot measure.  I'm thinking they are 32mm (1 1/4") but I can seem to find confirmation in any of the documentation.  Thanks.
