Hull Plate location, Pearson 26

I’m in the UK, my fiancé is in NC and we have just acquired our first yacht.
It’s based in NC
It needs a few items tidying up, however Julie cannot find the Hull Plate.
She has looked at the Transom but to no avail.
Is the Hull Number etched anywhere else - possibly by the manufactuer during construction?
Also any ideas as to a supplier of a replacement Tiller, as ours has become delaminated.
Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
