This is a classic 1973 Pearson 30 (P-30). She has been well maintained and is a beautiful boat. She does not show her age.
The boat is an excellent family cruiser or PHRF racer. She is responsive and fun to sail. A solid boat, no soft spots. Sleeps 6, V-berth forward with double & single berths and a quarter berth in the main salon. Stand up head, shower, holding tank, pressure water. Freshwater wash-down in cockpit. Tiller has been replaced with wheel. Atomic 4 engine with all the upgrades suggested by Moyer Marine, runs great. Engine was professionally rebuilt 5 years ago. Folding prop.
6:1 main sheet, adjustable, line controlled main and sheet travelers. Stainless steel rudder post and replaced bushings. There are many favorable reviews on the P-30, this is one of the best maintained of a wonderful boat. The boat has been cleaned and bottom painted with ablative bottom paint, so she is ready to be launched and sailed away. . Health forces the sale of this boat that I’ve owned since 1992.
