Bow Cleats and Chocks
« on: May 05, 2017, 10:32:48 AM »
One of my bow cleats and the opposing bow chock broke during the peak winds of Hurricane Matthew. Does anyone know where I can find/purchase this same hardware to match the holes and backing plates? I have not been able to locate these at any of the marine hardware stores I have shopped.

Schaefer.
The bow chock is Schaefer as well, not sure the make them now.
There is a chance at a junk marine store.
Hit me up if you need one, I may know a guy that might have some.

The cleat measures 9 1/4" overall length, hole spacing lengthwise is 2 1/4" center to center and about the same side to side. I have not been able to locate a four hole open base cleat of any style or material that matches these measurements. Any assistance finding a new or used cleat and skene bow chock would be greatly appreciated.
