If you have questions just ask.  The eye strap was already on the boat and used the wench and cleat.

last one i took.  just used the anchor cleat for the down haul.  The sock lines are on the mast cleat.

Very useful - thank you. Pad eyes on order (darn they are pricey).  I am tending to fly the 'chute ahead of the forestay, clear of the jib sheets; but I have the anchor platform, so that gives me the option.  I am betting the original plan was to secure the tack on the stem fitting as you have done.  Will post photos of my new improved setup when it is set up!
