Weird Bow Chocks on 1972 Pearson 30
« on: April 25, 2023, 03:31:34 PM »
I have a 1972 Pearson 30.  One of my bow chocks pulled off during a storm.

I think the bow chocks are kind of weird.  they are right up at the bow, within a foot of the bow,
and they are up on little wooden blocks.  Is this stock for a 1972 Pearson 30, or some remuddling?
Do I need to have them up on these little blocks?  Where can I get replacement bow chocks?
Are they galvanized, or what?  I don't have a lot of spit and polish, so it's hard to tell.

Thanks, Jim Baranski, Shalom Orchard, Franklin ME

looks like there might be some leaks up there.
If it were mine I'd open it up to see, then rebuild as needed.
It should be a fun project, Learning experience.
Good Luck
