skegg repair

Good Morning, Just had my p303 hauled out, I hit a Large tree trunk in the beginning of the season. Now I can see the damage on the skegg.
What can I use to add about 1/8 of an inch filler to the part of the skegg that's missing. About 1/8 deep by 6" X 4" long
It looks like epoxy filler not glass. Everything else looks good Skegg done its job.

I would recommend thickened epoxy. If strength is not your primary concern, a cellulose-based thickener, such as West 403, is fine. Otherwise, use milled/chopped glass fibers to thicken. The result will have better structural qualities, but it will be harder to sand fair. Follow with some kind of barrier coat, then bottom paint as normal.

Have you ever used PETTIT 7076 FLEXPOXY ?

No, I've stayed exclusively with WEST System epoxy.
