So we recently completed a complete refit of our fresh water system. In the process, we decided to take out the sink in the head, because we never really used it, we always just walk to the galley and wash our hands. So what to do with this space now. We thought about cutting off the top of the fiberglassed sink recess and then placing a hinged wood top and using the space below for something like towel storage.
Has anyone else removed that sink and made something more useful with the extra space? Just looking for ideas and recs.
