Second Anchor Roller
« on: December 09, 2011, 08:56:12 AM »
Has anyone found a good fitting anchor roller that will bolt on the Pearson 323 platform for a second anchor?  If so could you provide a part number and/or photo?

Custom work (like this project by Cliff) is out of my budget so I am looking for an off-the-shelf solution that is strong and still looks good.

I suspect that any bow roller that you find would do the job.  Check out availability at marine salvage places.  I bought a salvage bow roller at Bacon's in Annapolis but have seen many others at other places.  Mounting is just a matter of drilling a few holes and a few bolts or screws.  Just make sure that the roller will allow your anchors to sit side by side, one a bit further forward than the other.  I'll post a picture tomorrow.
