Hello Pearson goup,
Just bought a 1977 in Lake City MN. Wonderful condition, beautiful marina. Never done a forum before so I might need coaching. I've already read some helpful posts. Installing a bimini and stove top this weekend. Does anyone have the Nautilus Automatic Battery Charger? Leave it on during the week? Yes?
Thanks,
Jim

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum.

I see from your profile that you have a P-323 with an Atomic 4.  You should also join the Moyer Marine Forum.  Moyer has been almost single-handedly responsible for keeping 20,000 of the 40,000 Atomic 4s built still in service. http://www.moyermarineforum.com/forums/

As for the battery charger, I'm not specifically familiar with the Nautilus, but you should only leave a charger on for long periods if its a "smart" 3-stage charger that includes an automatic "float" charge capability.  Anything else runs the risk of cooking the battery.
