Hello all.....
« on: April 13, 2017, 01:53:01 PM »
Very glad to have found this site and becoming part of the Pearson family.  I am relatively new to the sailing world, but my girlfriend has about 14 yrs under her belt. My past had always been around jet boat racing in the 80's and 90's. So....with that said, being from Tennessee I am looking forward to the more laid back slower pace sailing has to offer. Mary, my girlfriend thinks I'll go nuts since I have always lived life on water going fast. My answer to her was, I will just put a bigger motor on the dingy.  Haaaa, problem solved.

We are based out of St Augustine, Fl. and plan to do most our traveling in the Florida Keys and Bahamas with Summer trips up to Chesapeake Bay.

Looking forward to learning everything we can about our Pearson 323, learning to liveaboard and meeting new friends.

Until later,
Mary & Tooter

The most mechanically inclined love sailing. I know several pilots, motorcycle and sports car racers who really love sailing. Remember women are the best sailors. You are lucky to have good teacher.

Sailing is fantastic! Here's a nice triple digit run to the boatyard last autumn...

Welcome!

You're going to love the 323. We took ours to the Bahamas for the winter, and are now in SC working our way up the ICW back to our home port near Baltimore on the Chesapeake.  It's been a blast.

Look us up if you're in the Chesapeake.

Welcome to the fleet Vixen, quite a change from Jet boats!

We recently sold our race-boat, (an Ultimate 20), but that will let us focus on our P323 - with hopes of moving our home port to St Augustine in the future.  Keep us posted on your projects and experiences sailing in North Florida.
